Despite the constant fight with the adverse stone-cold climate conditions, our Soldiers are engaged in the service at the border area continuously day and night, serve the country and ensure the peace and sovereignty of the country. Siachen Glacier, where the temperature can dip to -50 °C and it is extremely hard to survive because of scarce climate changes. Visitors would sensate the hardships, faced by the Indian Army during their task of safeguard, in the exhibition. A negative degree temperature and various live war games would be provided in the stall which provides the people to experience the situation of the army at the time of service.
Swachh Bharat Abhiyan:
First time in the history of our country, Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi had talked about the swachhta campaign at the national level from Red Fort during the 68th Independence Day. We are just boosting this effort to bring a sustainable and efficient sanitation practices, various innovative ideas would also be taken into consideration. As swachhta our basic concept, we provide a great platform to experience the values on swachhta in this stall. It will bring a change in the masses’ perspective towards sanitation and hygiene.
Skill India is a Government Initiative launched on 15 July 2015. It also includes various initiatives of the government like “National Skill Development Mission”, “National Policy for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, “Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY)” and the “Skill Loan scheme”.
Even after so many operations like skill India, our youth is not yet aware of these campaigns and those who are aware, do not want to take part in it as they don’t know the significance. In this stall, we will make the youth aware about Skill India and its consequences.
Digital India is a campaign launched by the Government of India to ensure that Government services are made available to citizens electronically by improving online infrastructure and by increasing Internet connectivity or by making the country digitally empowered in the field of technology for ease of public and business work. We will spread awareness of various digital frameworks in this stall like Digital Education, cashless economy and Delivery of services digitally.
The state is often referred to as the Devbhumi (“Land of the Gods”). It is known for its natural beauty of the Himalayas, and the rivers. This stall is totally dedicated to the river Ganges. The river Ganges is the most sacred river to Hindus. It is also a lifeline to millions of Indians who live along its course and depend on it for their daily needs. It is worshipped as the goddess Ganga in Hinduism. Various methods of worship are making adverse effect on the rivers as a result they are getting extremely polluted rapidly.
The origin state of Buddhism, is known for its culture, lok-sangeet, ancient world reputed Ethical and social educational teachings and the great emperor Ashoka Maurya. In ancient and classical India, Bihar was considered a centre of power, learning, and culture. Chhath puja which is confined only to a small region is now become a national festival as we saw in the previous few years. Lord Gautam Buddha who showed the path of peace and fraternity to the world. We will present chhath puja, Lord Gautam Buddha, a demonstration of Bodh Gaya, Sanskriti and Sangeet in a stall tribute to their diverse culture.
Gujarat the “jewel of western india” known for its costumes, food, and folk dances. The ancient city of Dholavira is one of the largest and most prominent archaeological sites in India, belonging to the Indus Valley Civilization. The Rann of Kutch is a seasonally marshy saline clay desert located in the Thar Desert biogeographic region in between the province of Sindh and the state of Gujarat. We will present several sites in relation to ancient civilization, dressing culture and folk dances.
